Jack Doyle injury update: Colts TE out vs. 49ers
Doyle is battling a concussion, as well as a neck injury, which led to him being limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Doyle was then held out of Friday’s practice as the team decided to rule him out for Sunday.
After his breakout 2016 season, Doyle has struggled to find that same magic without Andrew Luck in the lineup. In four games, Doyle has just 17 catches for 163 yards and no touchdowns.
The good news for him is this injury isn’t serious, and it looks like both Doyle and Luck could return very soon.
Fantasy impact: With Doyle out, the Colts will rely on Brandon Williams and Darrell Daniels at tight end. This injury should be the last straw for Doyle on your fantasy team, which he should not be part of going forward.
